Flame Size On Gas Ranges

When operating your gas burners at different settings, you will most likely see a difference in flame size. This difference will result in a difference in heat output that affects the speed of cooking. Cooking with gas requires closer attention to the flame than the knob setting. Flames should not be allowed to extend beyond the bottom of the pan. Depending on your model and fuel type, service may be able to adjust the valves to give you better control at the LO setting if needed.
