Dehumidifier - Fault or Error Codes
If a fault or error code appears on the display of your dehumidifier, disconnect power to it for 30 seconds. If the fault code reappears, review the Troubleshooting Tips in the Owner's Manual for your specific model. Fault or error codes that don't go away indicate a problem with the dehumidifier.
Fault or Error Code Exceptions
Fault Code "88"
When power is connected to the dehumidifier, an "88" code may appear in the display until you set the relative humidity. This is normal and does not indicate a problem with the appliance.
"E0" or "P1"
Models with a built-in drain pump will display a fault code if they are set to Pump Out Mode (Pump On) but water is not being pumped out when it's running.
To Correct: Make sure the pump hose is properly installed onto the dehumidifier and the bucket is securely in place. Then, reset the dehumidifier by unplugging it, waiting 30 seconds, and then plugging it back in.
- E01 appears on 70 pint built-in pump models.
- P1 appears on 50 pint built-in pump models.
