GE Profile™ GEOSPRING™ Hybrid Heat Pump Water Heater - Ambient Temperature Requirement

In order to protect the heat pump system (and for highest efficiency), the GE Profile™ GEOSPRING™ Hybrid Heat Pump Water Heater will operate in heat pump mode in temperatures ranging from 35°F - 120°F.

Anything below or above this temperature range will cause the water heater to automatically operate in standard electric mode to continue to provide hot water and will return to heat pump operation when ambient conditions allow.

About the Modes of Operation

You can choose from five operational settings: Heat Pump, Hybrid, High Demand, Standard Electric, and Vacation modes. You can personalize your water heating with flexible operation modes designed for maximum comfort and efficiency.
