Refrigerator Lower Section Of A Side By Side Too Cold

If your side-by-side refrigerator is too cold on the bottom but is warm on top, there are three possible reasons for the problem:

• Not having enough food in the refrigerator
• Not being opened often or not being used daily
• Temperature control drawers set on the Meat setting for long periods of time. 

 

To correct:

• Add food (or water filled containers)
• Turn the thermostat up. This causes the refrigerator to run longer, which in turn will let the air circulate more.
