Slide-In and Drop-In Range - Oven Vent Location

Free-standing ranges that have a control panel, sometimes called the backsplash, along the back of the range will have the oven vent from that backsplash area. Slide-in and drop-in ranges have a different design and the location of the oven vent varies by model.

Locating the Oven Vent on a Slide-In or Drop-In Range

The oven is vented in one of the following areas, above the oven door, along the bottom of the control panel, or behind the cooktop.
