Gas & Electric Wall Ovens - Oven Vent Location

Wall Ovens do not vent to the outside. There is an internal vent on Wall Ovens. Therefore, Wall Ovens do not vent to the outdoors, but vent within the room.

Wall Oven Vent Location

  • Prior to 2007, the Oven is vented through a vent tube under the control panel.
  • After 2007, for Single and Double Wall Ovens, the vent is below the door to keep electronics cooler, improve appearance, and provide a better door seal at the top.
