Dishwasher Plastic Smell

Most odors associated with new appliances are normal. The processes used during manufacturing may often leave a "newness" odor that may not dissipate until after several washing cycles. You can help alleviate this condition by running the dishwasher through several cycles using detergent.

Plastic Tub Smell:

• This is normal and the smell dissipates during normal use.
• During initial use you may smell the tub material, chlorine bleach in detergent, or the smell of rinse aid. 
• You can also try running the empty dishwasher through several cycles using detergent.
