Upright Freezer - Reversing the Door Swing

Most top freezer and single door, bottom freezer refrigerators have the feature of being able to reverse the door swing. We sometimes get the question asking if this applicable to an upright freezer.

Reversing the Door Swing on an Upright Freezer

Upright freezers have right hand door openings only. This means the handle is on the left side of the door and the door hinge is on the right. The door swing cannot be reversed on an upright freezer.
