Dishwasher - Removing Spots or Film from Glassware or Tub
To remove spots and film from stainless steel, plastic, or hybrid interior Dishwasher tubs, try a vinegar rinse. This is also able to remove spots or film from glassware and dishes.Performing a Vinegar Rinse
- Remove all metal dishes and metal utensils (including silverware and silver dishes).
- Do not add detergent.
- Select a longer wash cycle, like Potscrubber, Pots & Pans, or Heavy Wash.
- Start the Dishwasher and allow it to run for 15 to 20 minutes. The Dishwasher should now be in the main wash portion of the cycle. To verify, open the door and make sure the soap cup has sprung open.
- Open the door and pour 2 cups (500 ml) of white vinegar into the bottom of the Dishwasher.
- Close the door and allow the Dishwasher to complete the cycle.
