Dishwasher - Removing Spots or Film from Glassware or Tub

To remove spots and film from stainless steel, plastic, or hybrid interior tubs, try a vinegar rinse. This also removes spots or film from glassware and dishes.

 

Vinegar Rinse:

 

 

1. Remove all metal dishes and metal utensils (including silverware and silver dishes).

2. Do not add detergent.

3. Select a longer wash cycle, like Potscrubber or Pots & Pans.

4. Start the dishwasher and allow it to run for 15 to 20 minutes (the dishwasher will now be in the main wash).

5. Open the door and pour 2 cups (500 ml) of white vinegar into the bottom of the dishwasher.

6. Close the door and allow the dishwasher to complete the cycle.
