Washer - Extension Drain Hose Kit

Washers come with a 70" drain hose; however, a washer can pump up to 96". For top load and unitized washers, an optional 26" drain hose extension is recommended for drain heights from 70” - 96”. The kit contains all necessary hoses, clamps, and instructions. Connect the extension drain hose from the kit to the original hose with the hose clamp contained in kit.

Top Load and Unitized Washers

If a longer drain hose is required for a top load or unitized washer (GTUN/GTUP/GUV/GUD), order drain hose extension kit WH49X301.

Front Load Washers

If a longer drain hose is required for a front load washer, order drain hose extension kit WH49X316.

Portable/Compact Washers

  • There are no extensions for Compact/Portable washers, nor can you adapt a portable fill hose to work on a full size stationary washer. The drain hose for compacts/portable is slightly smaller in diameter and it is plastic (5' long). The extension will not attach to the original hose as there is no way to clamp it on.

    • Exception: WCVH4800 will accept drain extension hose kit WH49X317
