Dishwasher Stiff Gasket

The door gasket on the dishwasher is designed to be self-sealing. It may take a new dishwasher up to ten cycles for the gasket to form to the tub of the dishwasher. This can make the door difficult to latch for the first several washes; however, this is normal.

Run the dishwasher for a few more cycles. If the problem persists, service may be required. For service, please schedule an appointment with Bodewell.
