The new Monogram 30” refrigerator replaces the typical hydrofluorocarbon (HFC) refrigerant with a hydrocarbon (HC) alternative called R600a.
R600a is a naturally occurring refrigerant derived from natural gas and is also used in aerosol sprays.
R600a is a refrigerant that has been used in Europe and parts of Asia to provide reliable cooling with minimal negative impact on the environment.
R600a has no harmful fluorine (F) and does not contribute to global warming nor the depletion of the ozone layer.
R660a replaces the current refrigerant R134a. R134a replaced R12 in the 1990s.

Convertible lower drawer on Monogram Integrated model:

The lower drawer can be used as a freezer (-6 to 6) or fresh food drawer (34 to 46).
Lower drawer can be used to store wine (40 degrees to 55 degrees).

Other features:

Center drawer contains hidden electronic icemaker that dispenses filtered ice cubes in crescent-shaped cubes.
Dual Refrigeration System (also know as Dual Sealed System) in Integrated Monogram refrigerators consists of three independent temperature management zones that are controlled by 2 compressors and 2 evaporators.
Heavy duty articulating (integrated) hinge in the integrated design Monogram refrigerator.
