Monogram Dishwasher Draining During Main Wash

Water draining from the dishwasher while it is circulating in the MAIN WASH is an indication that the filter underneath the bottom spray arm is clogged. 

Remove the bottom spray arm: 

1. Take out the lower rack.

2. Rotate the spray arm counter-clockwise 1/4-turn (or 90-degrees) while gently lifting up. There is a FILTER that is held in place by a plastic-retaining nut.

 

Clean the filter: 

1. Unscrew the nut.

2. Lift the filter out of the tub.

3. Clean the filter in the sink.

4. Re-seat the clean filter and tighten the nut.

 

Re-seat the bottom spray arm: 

1. Place the spray arm back on the hub.

2. Rotate clockwise 1/4-turn (or 90 degrees).

 

Re-seat the lower rack.
