Monogram Dual-Flame Stacked Burner
Dual-Flame Stacked burners available on your Monogram range, rangetop or cooktop have two sets of flames stacked one on top of the other. These burners should be used for general cooking purposed, sizing cookware appropriately to the flames. The Dual Flame Stacked burner provides both a lower simmer flame and an upper high BTU output flame on each burner. When a burner is turned on, the lower flame will always light and stay on, regardless of the setting. The upper burner will come on with any setting above simmer. There are three elements that make this unique burner design work so well:
-
140-degree low-simmer flame.
-
Precise distance from the flame.
-
Larger burner diameter on every burner.
The stacked burner design provides a wide range of heat settings with which to simmer. Depending on the type and quantity of food, and pan size, the flame can be adjusted to suit your specific need. The simmer temperature is so precise that it can melt butter on a dollar bill placed on the burner grate without burning the dollar.Settings from LO to MED will use both upper and lower flames. The HI setting should be used for larger diameter cookware when searing foods quickly and boiling large quantities of water.Dual Stack burners are supplied with black enamel caps and brass inserts that sit in the center. The inserts may be removed depending on your preference. For information on cleaning these burners, see Monogram Professional Range, Rangetop and Cooktop - Care and Cleaning of Burner Caps and Heads.
