Over-the-Range Microwave - Top and Rear Templates

Over-the-Range Microwaves are shipped with the top and rear templates that allow you or your installer to easily locate and drill the mounting screw holes and cut out the areas for the vent and power cord.

• The rear template is only used if the microwave is being vented to the outside from the rear/back of the microwave.

• The mounting bracket on the back of the microwave does not have a template. The mounting bracket is removed from the microwave and is its own template.

If you need a copy of the template ahead of time or if a replacement template is needed, many models have the electronic version available on www.geappliances.com. These can be found on the model's product page under the Owner Support tab in the Manuals & Downloads section.

 

For templates not found on the online product page (usually older models), you can Contact Us for a copy of the template. We can email a letter-sized (8 1/2" x 11") copy of the template. It is not to scale, but does have the dimensions needed for installation. We do not stock templates, so we are unable to mail a full-sized copy.
