Microwave Minute Second Timer Feature

This microwave Timer feature uses no microwave energy. It functions as:

• A kitchen timer
• A holding period after a defrost (on some models)
• A delay timer before time or temperature cooking
• The light and the fan will come on and operate when the minutes/seconds timer is programmed while using another function.
• On turntable models, the turntable will also turn. On some models, the minutes/seconds timer can be used simultaneously with the microwave mode.

For Example:

• Set up micro cooking for 2 minutes.
• While the microwave is counting down, set up minutes/seconds for 10 seconds.
• The 10 seconds will display and the count down will beep, then the remaining microwave time re-appears and continues until time has expired.
• On the Over The Range Spacemaker XL models, the timer cannot be used to do a holding period after defrost or as a delay start. It can only be used as a timer.
• The maximum programmed time is 99 minutes, 99 seconds.
