Advantium Suggestions for Preventing Food From Overcooking
Since the composition and characteristics of foods vary, even within the same brand, the cooking cycle may need to be adjusted.
Here are some suggestions for achieving the best cooking performance:
- Verify that the correct serving size has been selected for the food portion being cooked. If the serving size is too small for the program, the result will be overcooked food. To compensate, reduce either the power levels or the total cooking time.
- Some pre-programmed recipes were specifically written for frozen foods and others for refrigerated foods. Verify that the proper selection was made for the food chosen. If a frozen food recipe is used with thawed food, the result will be overcooked food.
- Placement of the food on the metal tray is important. See the Cookware Tips section at Advantium Speedcook Oven Recipes & Cooking Tips
