Upright & Chest Freezer - Door or Lid Squeaking

A squeaky hinge on your freezer door or lid can be annoying. To eliminate squeaking on an upright or chest freezer hinge, we suggest the following:

• Lubricate the hinges with an approved oil or lubricant. We recommend using pure paraffin wax (not candle wax), pure petroleum jelly or pure mineral oil.

• After lubricating the hinge, work the door or lid back and forth until the noise is eliminated.
