Upright & Chest Freezer - Temperature Control Location

The location of the temperature control on an Upright or Chest Freezer will vary, depending upon the age of the appliance. General information about the location of the temperature control on a Freezer is provided below.

Locating the Temperature Control on an Upright or Chest Freezer

• On older Chest Freezer models, the temperature control is usually located on the exterior back in the lower, right-hand corner as you face the front of the Freezer.
• On newer Chest Freezer models, the temperature control is usually located on the exterior front in the lower, right-hand corner as you face the front of the Freezer.
• On older Upright Freezer models, the temperature control is usually located in the middle of the rear wall of the interior cabinet liner.
• On newer Upright Freezer models, the temperature control is usually located on the exterior front of the Freezer on the door.
