Upright & Chest Freezer - Sweats On The Exterior

Moisture forming on the outside of the cabinet (sometimes referred to as sweating) or excessive frost build-up inside an upright or chest freezer is not unusual during periods of high humidity or extended hot, humid weather. You can wipe the surface dry and use a good appliance polish to protect the finish.

 

You can also check to make sure you have the proper air clearances around the upright or chest freezer.
