Washers Clothes Feel Heavy After Spin Cycle

If you cannot physically wring water from clothing, then the washer is spinning properly. Since most GE washers use a cold water rinse, the clothes may feel heavier. This seems to be more noticeable in the winter when the cold water is colder because of ground temperatures.
