Washer - Optional Extra Rinse

Most washers offer an optional extra rinse to be used with the wash cycle. This is a feature that can be used when additional detergent or additives have been used for a particularly heavily soiled load of laundry.

Using the Optional Extra Rinse on a Washer

When you use extra detergent or bleach to clean heavily soiled clothes, use the Extra Rinse option to better remove additional residues. NOTE: This option is not allowed for some cycles.

Note: Extra Rinse and 2nd Rinse are the same thing
