Dishwasher SureClean Wash System

The SureClean wash system was found on every GE Profile Performance, GE Profile and GE dishwasher manufactured from 1997 to 1999 (except GSD2200 and GSD2000 series, which feature two-level wash with SureClean instead of three-level wash with SureClean). This complete system provides powerful and effective wash performance.

The SureClean wash system consists of:

  • SureClean wash arm with SureClean power tower: enables a "wall of water" to completely cover every single item and every arm rotation. The 25 degree angle of each spray hole concentrates the wash action on the dishes, not the tub and door.
  • SureClean tower: located in the center of the upper rack and rotates manually, directing water downward from a special tip on the end of the tower.
  • Dual/Triple filtration (depending on the model):
    • dual filtration - self-cleaning filter that prevents soil from re-entering the tub.
    • triple filtration - an additional sump filter added to the sump area to prevent even more food particles from re-entering the tub. This produces five times the normal filtration rate.

The GSD3715D, GSD3725D, GSD3735D models made during this time period have an upgraded wash system rather than the SureClean wash system. These models have an upper wash arm and feature five wash levels instead of three.
