Dishwasher Cleaning Calrod

Please exercise caution while following these procedures.

In order to remove plastic from the dishwasher calrod, advance the timer to the "dry" cycle and allow it to heat up for approximately 4 minutes. Then advance the timer to the "off" position and scrape the plastic off with a non-metallic object such as a wooden spoon.

On electronic models and the GSD1200s, to get to the dry cycle you have to let the unit run through your shortest wash cycle and then when it gets to the dry cycle follow the same process as above.
