Dishwasher - Water Temp Boost or Wash Heat Boost

Many Dishwashers have a Water Temp Boost, Wash Heat Boost, or Wash Temp Boost option. While the terminology varies on different models, the functionality remains the same.

Utilizing the Water Temp Boost, Wash Heat Boost or Wash Temp Boost Feature

If the Water Temp Boost, Wash Heat Boost or Wash Temp Boost button is pushed in, the Dishwasher extends the main wash time by about 20 minutes, which raises the water temperature from about 120 degrees F to 140 degrees F. This will improve wash performance, especially when heavily soiled dishes are involved. For example, if a Pots & Pans cycle along with Wash Heat Boost are selected, the entire cycle including dry could be much longer.

Note: Wash Temp Boost cannot be added to the 1-Hour or Rinse cycles.
