Dryer - Leveling

It is important to level your dryer. Leveling the dryer prevents the dryer from vibrating when in use. The two legs at the front inner corners of Top Load dryers need to be touching the floor to avoid a tip over. All of the dryer legs are adjustable about 1".

Leveling the Dryer

  1. Place a level on top of the dryer pointing side to side.
  2. Adjust the leveling legs until the dryer is level.
  3. Place the level on top of the dryer pointing front to back.
  4. Adjust the leveling legs again, if necessary, to level.

When leveling a gas dryer, there can be an additional 2 anti-tip legs at the front. Adjust the two anti-tip legs at the front inner corners, taking care that they are touching the floor to avoid a tip over.
