Distance from Burner Cap to Grate

The distance from the top of the burners to the top surface of the grate is approximately 1.5". The height will vary slightly (+/- .2") depending on the burner. The height of the grate is designed to provide optimal heating while also maintaining burner efficiency and safety.

Note: If the burner seems to be cooking too slow when using larger cookware, using a lid will decrease cooking time or the time to reach a boil.
