Range and Wall Oven - Self Clean Oven Fan Operation

Current built-in models with electronic clocks have a small fan in the electronics that comes on during self-cleaning to keep the electronic controls cool. The fan will remain running until the oven is cool, even after the self-cleaning cycle is complete. 

For several years prior to 1980, our self-clean ovens had a fan that came on about 1/2 hour into the cycle to help circulate the heat. 1980 to current models do not have this type of fan.
