Washer Activated Soak Cycle
The activated soak cycle allows for more thorough removal of embedded soils and stains. It activates clothes in a soak agent for a short time (approximately seven minutes) then spins the water out. The washer does agitate on GENTLE during this cycle.
To give clothes a motionless soak period, the cycle can be interrupted by pushing in the timer knob . After soaking, pull the knob out and allow the soak cycle to complete.
The activated soak cycle is designed to advance the timer to the OFF position. Any other cycle that is selected should advance through the soak cycle, not stop there. If the timer is stopping in the soak cycle, make sure the cold water is not turned off to unit and the cold and hot water hoses are not reversed.
The soak cycle is the cold water rinse in a normal wash.
