Dishwasher - Racks Interchangeable

The bottom racks on dishwashers are sometimes interchangeable. The upper racks on dishwashers are not interchangeable.

Interchanging the Bottom Rack on a Dishwasher

Interchangeable (Depending on Model and Style)

• Plastic tub model bottom racks are sometimes interchangeable with each other, as are the bottom racks on stainless steel tub models.
• Short door plastic tub model bottom racks may be interchangeable with each other, as are the bottom racks on "tall tub" plastic models.

Not Interchangeable

• Plastic tub and stainless steel tub bottom racks.
• Old and new models.
