Range - Cleaning the Knobs

Ranges and wall ovens may have control knobs on the appliance. It is very easy to clean the knobs on a cooking appliance.

Cleaning the Knobs on a Range or Wall Oven

1. Pull off the knobs.
2. Wash gently in a mild detergent and water solution with a soft cloth. Do not soak the knobs. Dry well.
3. Return the control knobs on the appliance, making sure to match the flat area on the back of the knob to the shaft.
4. On double oven model ranges, be sure not to interchange the oven knobs.

Note: Many models have cardboard pieces behind the knobs. These act as a "splash guard" and should not be removed.
