Electric Range - Leveling the Plug-In Burners

Follow the below to level the electric plug-in burners:

1. Turn the power off to the range at the breaker or fuse box.
2. Remove the heating element from its socket.
3. Carefully re-insert the element into its receptacle.
4. If there is a slot in the drip pan, make sure that the brackets on the bottom of the element fit into the slots in the pan. This keeps the element steady and in place.

 

If the receptacle into which the element inserts is bent or damaged, this will require service. For service, please schedule an appointment with Bodewell.
