Range & Wall Oven - Aluminum Foil Fused in Oven
We understand that you may want to line the oven bottom with aluminum foil to catch spillovers and keep the oven bottom clean. Should you want to protect the oven bottom from a spillover, we suggest placing the aluminum foil on the lower rack or placing the pan on a cookie sheet.
Removing Aluminum Foil That Is Fused Onto the Oven Liner
Do not use aluminum foil to line the oven bottom. Foil can trap heat or melt, resulting in damage to the product and a shock or fire hazard. If foil, silicone liners, or other similar products have fused to the bottom of the oven, we cannot provide suggestions for removing the foil. For assistance, we recommend service.
Note: On double oven models where one of the ovens has aluminum foil fused to the liner, it is okay to use the other oven, including the self-clean cycle, as long as it does not have any aluminum foil inside.
