Top Freezer Refrigerator Handle Tighten, Remove and Replace

Top Mount Refrigerators:

Stainless Handles on Top Mount Refrigerator:

 

Step 1: Use a 3/32” allen wrench (WX05X10332) to tighten the set screws. Turn screw counter-clockwise. There is 1 set screws per handle.Step 2: Remove both Phillips-head screws.Step 3: Pull handle out to remove from door.Step 4: Use 3/16" allen wrench (WX05X10316) to tighten the mounting stud. Turn stud clockwise.Step 5: Replace handle.

 

Plastic Handles on Top Mount Refrigerator:

 

Step 1: Remove both cross (Phillips-head) screwsStep 2: Push Freezer handle down. Pull Fresh-food handle up to position mounting stud inside wide part of mounting bracket slot. Pull handle out and away from door face.
