The Consortium for Energy Efficiency

The Consortium for Energy Efficiency (CEE), is a national, non-profit public benefits corporation, which promotes the manufacture and purchase of energy-efficient products and services.

CEE members include:

  • Utility companies, statewide and regional market transformation administrators, environmental groups, research organizations and state energy offices.
  • Also contributing to the collaborative process are CEE partners - manufacturers, retailers and government agencies.
  • The U.S. Department of Energy and Environmental Protection Agency both provide major support, through active participation as well as funding.

Consumers may visit CEE's website to learn more about rebates being offered by their local utility companies when purchasing energy efficient appliances.

There are several reasons why changes are made to any appliance and the government restrictions are constantly changing. Some appliances no longer meet new requirements even though they had met them once before.

Note: The rebates and/or special offers shown on the CEE website are not GE Appliances offers. These are offers being made available by local and/or state agencies. These rebates are offered in addition to any national rebates which may be offered by GE Appliances.
