Wine Chiller - Temperature Settings Cannot be Changed

Most wine chillers have a control lockout mode. This article describes the use of this feature. A couple of procedures are listed below. It is always best to consult the Owner's Manual for your specific model to check on the design and use of the feature.

Diagnosing Temperature Settings That Cannot Be Changed on a Wine Chiller

If the temperature controls cannot be adjusted (keypads do not work), the wine chiller or wine cooler may be in lockout mode.

Red Wine Pad

• Press the Red Wine key, if "LOC" appears in the display, the lockout mode is engaged.
• To exit, press the Red Wine and Interior Light pads simultaneously for 3 seconds.

Lock Pad

Locking/Unlocking Control Panel

• To change any settings, the control panel needs to be unlocked. If the control panel is locked, the display will flash Loc for 4 seconds when a key is pressed, and the key press is ignored.
• Press and hold Lock for 3 seconds to lock/unlock the control.
