Range & Wall Oven - Oven Liners (Non-Stick After Market)
We do NOT recommend the use of the Non-Stick Oven Liners in any of our ranges and wall ovens.
Understanding Not Using a Non-Stick Oven Liner In an Oven
- UL (Underwriter's Laboratory) requires that we warn consumers that they "must not" use oven cleaners nor protective liners in their self clean oven. We put this in the Owner's Manuals.
- Oven liners are also not recommended to be used in non self-cleaning ovens, nor warming drawers.
- ANSI requires us to warn users not to put anything on the floor of a gas range because the oven vents might get blocked and cause high levels of CO. Therefore, we cannot recommend the use of an aftermarket oven liner on a gas range, even if slots were cut in the liner for the vents.
- On hidden bake models, the liners may reflect heat back down, and upset the temperature calibration of the oven.
