Top Load HE Washers Low Water Level

GE HydroWave with Infusor washers were designed with Energy and Water savings in mind, they are Energy Star® qualified.

If you see that there is less water to wash, this is normal. In fact the water fill will generally not exceed the height of the infusor by more than an inch.

It is necessary to use less water not only for the benefit of water and energy savings, but it is also necessary to keep clothes closer to the Infusor wash plate in order to facilitate agitation or "turnover" of the fabrics. Rest assured that your clothes are washing just as well as they would in a traditional top-load washer, but you are saving energy and water use.
