Washers - Fabric Softener Option

Liquid fabric softener can be used in Energy Star qualified washers by GE Appliances. The fabric softener option must be selected to properly distribute and dilute liquid fabric softener at just the right time.

The fabric softener options available on select "Energy Star" qualified models are as follows:

Fabric Softener - set this option when adding fabric softener to the washer.

Fabric Softener plus Second Rinse - set this option when adding fabric softener to the washer. The 2nd Rinse option provides a 2nd deep cold rinse.

Fabric Softener plus Second Rinse and Extended Spin - set this option when adding fabric softener to the washer. The 2nd Rinse option provides a 2nd deep cold rinse and Extended Spin option will extract more water from your clothes. Clothes will contain less moisture when this option is selected and the clothes will dry more quickly in the dryer.
