Monogram Beverage Center - Manual Adjustment to Lower Temperature
To meet federal guidelines and be classified as a chiller / cooler, the minimum set point for the Monogram beverage center is 40° Fahrenheit. However, once you have it in your home, you can lower the set point, if desired. This enables you to satisfy your wants and needs.
Adjusting the Temperature Manually to a Lower Temperature
To get into extended, lower temperature ranges on the electronic beverage center control, please do the following:
Press the "colder" button to get down to 40° Fahrenheit. At 40° Fahrenheit, hold the "colder" and "light" buttons simultaneously for 6 seconds. The “light” button on the model ZDBT240PBS is located at the top of the handle. 34° Fahrenheit will flash 3 times before going back to the actual temperature.
Next, press the "colder" button to get down to 34° Fahrenheit. The display will show the new, lower set temperature (34 to 39° Fahrenheit) and then revert to the actual temperature after a 5-second delay. 34° Fahrenheit is the lowest set temperature possible.
This appliance is designed for storing and cooling beverages. It is not intended for the storage of perishable foods.
Note: Newer models do not have this option to lower the temperature range.
