HydroWave Wash System Explanation
HydroWave™Wash System: The agitator on the HydroWave™wash system makes a longer 360 degrees stroke and operates in both directions.
- This allows the clothing to travel longer in the water instead of short aggressive strokes.
- The longer travel helps to improve the turnover of clothing and gentle cleaning helps prevent fabric wear and color fading.
The smoothness of the HydroWave wash system is also much quieter.
- The HydroWave™ wash system's variable speed motor is engineered with fewer parts than conventional top-load washers, providing great durability and ease of maintenance.
- The variable-speed motor quietly customizes agitation and spin speeds to the laundry load.
- The on-board motor electronics assist in customizing clothing care for specific fabrics by allowing for more gentle agitation speeds.
HydroWave™ PerfecTemp system monitors incoming water temperature with an electronic thermostat. The thermostat reading is sent to the system's computer.
- If water is too cold, the hot water valve is opened to correct the mix of water.
- If water is too hot, the cold water valve is opened to achieve the proper temperature.
The HydroWave™ wash system has the ExtrAction™ ribbed basket that removes up to 24% more moisture from clothes, versus a smooth basket, thereby, reducing dry times. Offers increased surface area to "squeeze" more water from clothes during the spin cycle, resulting in reduced dry times.
