Side-by-Side Refrigerator - Express Chill™

For a period of time, select Side-by-Side refrigerator models featured an Express Chill™ option for a fresh food storage drawer. This is not currently featured in our Side-by-Side refrigerators.

Using the Express Chill™ Option In a Side-by-Side Refrigerator Fresh Food Storage Drawer

Select Express Chill™ to cool items in minutes rather than hours.

1. Place the cooling tray in the storage drawer pan with handles up.
2. Put items to be chilled on the cooling tray and close securely.
3. Select either 15, 30 or 45 minutes, depending on what is being cooled, on the control panel. Cool air with an average temperature of 20º Fahrenheit is drawn from the freezer and circulates throughout the pan.

Once the cycle is complete, the pan will revert back to the pre-set fresh food temperature.
