Customizing or Modifying an Appliance

We cannot recommend altering, redesigning, or modifying an appliance, part, or accessory. Our products are designed, tested and manufactured to specific specifications. On new products, we offer a warranty based on these specifications, so any modification may void this warranty.

 

Since each brand has its own "look", cosmetic parts like handles and exterior panels are not interchangeable between brands, i.e., Monogram range handles will not fit GE Profile ranges.

 

Also, we do not recommend any change or removal of parts that may effect the performance of that product. For example, if the legs on a microwave or refrigerator were removed, it could impede the air flow under the product and result in poor performance and/or product failure.
