Upright Freezer - Soft Freeze Zone

For a period of time we had a few upright freezer models that had a Soft Freeze Zone feature. While we no longer offer this on our current models, this article explains the feature.

Using the Soft Freeze Zone on an Upright Freezer

The Soft Freeze Zone is a feature that allows you to store your ice cream and other soft serve items in a compartment that is slightly warmer than the rest of the cabinet interior. This allows ice cream to be served more easily.

The Soft Freeze Zone is a door shelf with a clear cover over the full length of the shelf, 2nd shelf from the bottom. The feature was only available on the FUM17SV, FUM21SV and FUM21DH upright manual defrost freezer models. These models are no longer being manufactured or available for purchase.
