Dryer - Leveling Legs

It is important to level your dryer. Leveling the dryer prevents the dryer from vibrating when in use. Proper leveling is also needed to prevent tipping. All of the dryer legs are adjustable about 1".

Adjusting the Dryer Leveling Legs

Four adjustable leveling legs come with each GE Appliances and Hotpoint dryer. You stand the dryer upright near the final location and adjust the leveling legs at the corners to ensure the dryer is level from side to side and front to back.

• Some models have six leveling legs. The extra two up on front serve as an anti-tip device. You adjust the two anti-tip legs at the front inner corners, taking care that they are touching the floor to avoid a tip over.
