Products Tested by Underwriters Laboratories
GE Consumer Products conducts product testing on all appliances we manufacture. In addition to our own product testing, we ask Underwriters Laboratories (UL), to safety test all of our products for the UL seal of approval.Underwriters' Laboratories is an independent testing agency whose engineers test sample products for safety that are voluntarily submitted by manufacturers.
- OSHA, an agency of the U.S. Department of Labor, publishes a list of Nationally Recognized Testing Laboratories (NRTL). Underwriters Laboratories (UL) is recognized by OSHA as a NRTL.
