Range Dual-Flame Stacked Gas Burner

The GE Profile™ and GE Cafe Series Dual Flame Stacked Burner's unique design combines two burners in one. The 2 burners are stacked one above the other.

For low temperature cooking (Precise Simmer) the ring of flame is very small and is near the base of the burner. When a higher temperature is needed the upper ring of fire ignites, producing not 1 but 2 rings of flame (Power Boil).

The Power Boil burner has 18,000 BTUs for accelerated boiling and Precise Simmer for gentle 140 degree simmering.

This burner design is like the Monogram dual-flame stacked burner and the way it operates is the same. Unlike Monogram on which all the burners are high BTU dual-flame stacked burners, the GE Profile™ Series has only the one dual-flame stacked burner on the cooktop.
