Range & Wall Oven - Clock Not Keeping Correct Time
We understand the frustration of having a clock that keeps adding or losing time. If the clock on your Range or Wall Oven is not keeping the correct time, it may be due to electrical spikes or surges affecting the software in the clock. Of course, there could be an issue with the control panel on the appliance. We suggest trying to reset the appliance and the clock prior to having it checked by a service person.
Resetting the Appliance and the Clock on a Range or Wall Oven
- Turn the power off at the circuit breaker or fuse box.
- Wait 10 minutes and turn the power back on.
- Set the clock with the correct time according to the instructions in the Owner's Manual for the specific model you own.
Note: Some Smart Ranges and Wall Ovens have an option to select a time zone or an automatic adjustment for daylight savings time in the Settings menu. If you have one of these models, you may want to check the Settings menu.
