Room Air Conditioner - Sleep Feature on 2010 Models
Select 2010 room air conditioner models offered a Sleep Feature. This article explains how this feature works.
Using the Sleep Feature on a 2010 Room Air Conditioner
This feature allows the opportunity for the air conditioner to save energy and not run throughout the nighttime hours when the outdoor temperature normally begins to drop.
- Press the Sleep button to either enter the Sleep function or exit the Sleep function.
- By pressing the Sleep button when the appliance is in the Cooling or Energy Saving mode, the set temperature will rise 2 degrees every 2 minutes.
The temperature rise will continue until the set temperature reaches and maintains 86 degrees Fahrenheit for 6 hours. The room air conditioner will then exit the Sleep function and begin cooling to achieve the original set point temperature.
