Upright & Chest Freezer - Self-Ejecting Key

The self-ejecting key feature ensures that the key is not left in the freezer lock. Self-ejecting keys are intended for the safety of your children. They prevent the key from being accidentally left in the lock where a child could unlock the freezer.

 

Almost all current upright and chest freezer models have locks with this feature.

 

• The key for the door or lid must be inserted in the lock and turned to the left to lock.

• It will then pop out of the key slot to prevent you from leaving it in the lock, thus keeping it out of the reach of little children.

• To prevent a child from being entrapped, keep the key out of reach of children and away from the freezer.
